Alumni

Whether you graduated during the past year or before KU's last Orange Bowl appearance, you can still be a part of the KU Band family. Every football season, the KU Band is proud to sponsor the KU Alumni Band's performance at the Homecoming game. If you are an alum, and you haven't participated in the past, you should consider participating as it is sure to be a great time with your friends from the KU Band, both old and new.

We have added an Alumni Mailing List to keep you up-to-date on Alumni Band activities and other important information about the KU Bands. You may also submit information for the "People News" section of the annual KU Band newsletter to <alumni@kuband.org>. For updates regarding your physical mailing address, please contact the Kansas University Alumni Association as they maintain our alumni postal database.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope to see you at the next KU Band performance or Alumni Band activity!

*** The 35th Annual Alumni Band Reunion on November 3rd was Spectacular! ***

On a beautiful cloudless fall day, approximately 150 alums returned to participate in the Homecoming Parade, the March Down the Hill, the KU Band's traditional Hog Calling, and the Halftime Show ---- and witnessed (and thoroughly enjoyed) the 76-39 Jayhawk victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers! It's a great day to be a Jayhawk!

If you were here, thank you for coming! If you were not here, we hope you will be with us next year! We hope all KU Band Alumni will start now, planning for next year's Alumni Band Reunion at the 2008 Homecoming celebration, scheduled for October 25th at the KU vs Texas Tech game.

You don't have to wait until Homecoming 2008 - we hope many of you will come visit, and attend some of the numerous concerts given by the KU Bands. 'Til we see you again!
